Don't Try This At Home

This is our new couch:

This is our new couch on drugs, oh wait, it's Harold who is on drugs. But doesn't he look better while doing drugs on the new couch?

Harold has a sinus infection. Ick. He actually blew air into his cheek tissue while trying to unplug his ears. His left cheek and chin are all puffy and when you push in on them they have a quiet popping kind of feel to them. Ultra Ick. Now he is on Augmentin and some kind of decongestant that requires identification and registration at our local pharmacy. Nice.

Poor Harold. Hope he's feeling better soon. You've gone a dinner invite on Sunday to get healthy for.

Wow! I can't believe that was air that was making the one side of his face swollen. Crazy! Does it look better now? Maybe this is a dumb question but, how is the air going to get out?

Love the couch by the way.
Tell Harold we love him.

The doc said the air would dissipate, just magically go away.

Of course Harold thinks a stroke is on his horizon. :)

Great addition to your house. Every year after we got married it was "the year of the couch". Finally ordered a couch before we left for Virginia. It was delivered to our new house while we were gone. Didn't even get to enjoy it until a year later. Then had it in the dress-up/HT and VT room until we moved. Sold the whole set for more than I paid for them in 1979. Everyone in the family was SURE no one would want them. But they were in pristine condition, and there WAS SOMEONE out there who loved the look. Paid Louis seven big ones without batting an eye so he would hold them while she went home to get her hubby to get a trailer to pick them up. When I got back in town, I had the last laugh. ....and used the money (it was in my "vault" for special stuff) for the next five years.

Wow, is that a familiar sight. If I wake up in the middle of the night with no husband, I am sure to find him on the couch. I hope yours is as comfortable as it looks. Tell Harold to get better soon.
