It's Finally Here

Our First Stop:

I can't help it, I'm excited. We are less than 12 hours away from taking off to California. I am packed and ready, the kids are packed and ready, but Harold has yet to pack. I know, you all are slack-jawed. The house is in need of a tidying and that will be done tomorrow morning.

Our Second and Final Stop:

After much complaining about the homework I am NOT going to get done while I am away, I have finally decided to let it go. I don't want to worry about it. I know I will pay for it when I return, but I just can't spend my vacation time with my wonderful husband worrying about writing a 10-12 page paper. I will still bring my reading, so I will stay caught up in that regard.

Thanks Mom and Dad for helping out by watching the kiddos. I am sure when you moved here you weren't thinking that we were going to start hitting you up so often!

P.S. I saw baby Ella today and I can say that she is by far the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. I am not kidding, that baby is gorgeous. Nice job Abbie (and Scott!)

P.P.S. I forgot to wear green today, but alas no one pinched me. Too bad, I have a lot of butt to pinch, it would have been fun.

P.P.P.S. I will be screening my phone calls while away.

P.P.P.P.S. Toodles!

I am so jealous! I miss Carmel. I hope you have a wonderful time. You and Harold deserve this time together. It's important! I know that Heavenly Father will bless you with the knowledge and mental fortitude it will take to get caught up on school when you get back! Seriously, enjoy yourself.

I hope you have a wonderful time! I am so jealous, I would love to see Carmel. And try not to worry about school. I spent most of our 2006 Thanksgiving in Hawaii writing a paper... how lame is that?

Have a wonderful time. Bill and I spent our honeymoon in Carmel and have been back once. Memories!! You are an inspiration and I'm glad to hear the laptop is staying home. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy Bill's saying, when the kids were still home, was "we were Bill and Janet before we were mom and dad. He was a stickler on getting away alone. I'm glad you were able to squeeze us into your busy Monday to come and see Ella. She is definately a blessing and a sweetheart. Be safe

Remember that one time when you let Matt and I visit you while you were at Carmel? Do you remember how fun that was? Do you think it will be that fun with out us? If you don't I'm pretty sure we could make a few arrangements to come and entertain you guys. Let me know.
